We are seeking a Job Coach to join our fun team. This is a full-time position, with day hours Monday-Friday.
 

Essential Duties:

  • Provide Job Coaching Supervision to small groups (or individuals) in the community at community job sites.
  • Using Achieve's vehicle, safely transporting participants to work and to community job sites.
  • To provide input and assistance in implementing formal and informal participant objectives.
  • Work cooperatively with other program groups within the production area space or at community job sites, sharing participant supervision.
  • To provide meaningful tasks and activities so that participants are engaged in functional activities.
  • Set up and carry through with tasks in ways that assist participants in increasing their independence.
  • To drive a route on a van or small bus safely and efficiently.
  • Perform general clean up and maintenance of program and work areas.
  • Collect accurate program data on a daily basis.
  • Communicate with others regarding concerns and program progress of participants in such a way that respect and confidentiality are maintained.
  • Will work cooperative with other staff, agencies and family members in order to facilitate services provided.
  • Assists participants with eating, mobility (including lifting and transferring participants weighing up to 150lbs), dressing, toileting and other personal needs.
  • Provide supervision to participants throughout the day.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school degree or equivalent; six months to one year (minimum) experience working with adults with developmental disabilities. Must have a valid Minnesota driver’s license and be able to successfully complete a MVR check.
